CO2 Sequestration Services
Weegar-Eide staff have successfully navigated the various state and federal regulatory processes for Class I hazardous and non-hazardous injection wells, Class II storage, disposal and EOR injection wells, Class III mining wells, aquifer exemptions for Class I and Class III wells, and Class V wells. Applying this experience, we have conducted studies for CO2 geological sequestration (GS) projects at over 30 sites in Texas, Colorado, Wyoming, Oklahoma, Arkansas, Louisiana, California, Michigan, Ontario, Alberta, and Australia.
Weegar-Eide staff have worked closely with regulatory agencies to successfully meet state and federal requirements for Class I, Class II, Class III, and Class V wells. This regulatory experience enables our company to identify and develop the regulatory framework and design parameters for CO2 GS wells that meet the requirements of the USEPA's more recently adopted Class VI UIC rules and/or state agencies with UIC program primacy.
We believe that our background with GS projects, along with our broad experience relating to injection well services, make us uniquely qualified to work in this growing segment of the industry. We have the resources and capability to move a project forward from feasibility screening to final implementation.
